Restaurants in the Yucatan

You can find *almost* everything you want in the Yucatan when it comes to food. And certainly you can find a lot of things you may have never heard of before. Yucatecans are proud of their food. Yucatecan cuisine is known by food enthusiasts around the world for its piquant flavors and unique combinations.

But eating here isn't all about the local food. Over the last few years, restaurants serving everything from tacos, yucatecan cuisine or fusion cuisine to hamburgers have been springing up as Merida and the surrounding area becomes more internationalized.

Each month, we are feature a different restaurant in and around Merida so that both residents and tourists can begin to get a taste of what's available!
