The Christmas holidays are long gone, New Year's resolutions are a memory at best, promises to diet have been made for Lent and Semana Santa - Easter holidays - are here, which means bathing suit time. Jupiter's is the restaurant in Merida that will help you get on track with healthy, nutritious, satisfying food. This is where you will find real fruit smoothies, tasty paninis and fresh fruit and vegetable salads. Open from 8 AM to 12 midnight, you can eat healthy for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Paninis and smoothies are actually new in Merida, so if you are not familiar with them, let us give you some information on what paninis and smoothies are; if you are familiar with this cuisine, let us tell you what is on their menu.

Paninis are grilled sandwiches on wonderful crusty bread. Jupiter's uses healthy whole grain bread with rosemary or oregano, depending on the panini you choose. There are vegetarian paninis and those with meat.

The breakfast menu includes Breakfast Egg Panini, Mushroom Omelet Panini, Light Wraps, Egg Wraps, Chicken Wraps, fruit cocktails, apple and banana bran muffins, coffee, cappuccino, a huge selection of natural fruit and vegetable juices and smoothies.

Now for smoothies. Smoothies are wonderful thick drinks made of fruits and fruit juices. Jupiter's offers Tropical smoothies, Citrus smoothies, Berry smoothies and Performance smoothies. Quick to make, colorful, and delicious, smoothies are as good-looking as they are good for you.

Lunch and dinner paninis include Grilled Chicken, Roast Beef, Chicken & Ham, Vegetarian, Tuna, Mushroom, Turkey, Ham & Cheese, and Shrimp and Tomato Paninis.

Gym instructors, personal trainers, nutritionists and sports doctor can drop by Jupiter' for their Professional Promotional Package that includes information on the benefits of their products, a free meal so you can actually try the food and a 20% discount card for future purchases.

Jupiter's is in the north of town in the 'L' shaped strip mall behind Checker's.
