Pancho’s is a popular oasis of tropical gardens, delicious, attractively presented food, and good music in the historical downtown center of Merida. At Pancho’s you will be pampered by friendly, service minded revolutionary garbed waiters (big sombreros, ammunition and gun belts) who are there to make sure you have a wonderful evening. There are four dining areas and two bars to choose from: the large, roofed area in the front, the open air area by the first bar, the larger under the stars area in the back and the quaint upstairs balcony type open air dining area also in the back. All areas have trees, plants and cozy lighting.

Start your meal with either nachos Pancho’s or a rustic pâté of shrimp, lobster, squash flower and goat cheese served with toasty baguette. If you fancy oysters, choose from Rockefeller, Madrazo and al ajillo.

Pancho’s is famous for its flamed dishes, be it their tasty tender pepper steak, tequila shrimp or their delicious after dinner Mayan coffee. It is quite a sight to have your meal prepared right at your table. Don’t forget your camera!
You will find all the food that is served at Pancho’s is attractively presented and not hot and spicy – a definite plus in Mexico. There are salsas and chilies on the table that you can add to your food at your own discretion.

From Wednesday to Saturday there is live music from 9 PM to 1 AM along with a small dance floor. Do plan a night at Pancho’s! You will be pleasantly, happily surprised! It will be one of the highlights of your visit to Merida.
