The Municipal Police has a new service – two tourist information booths. One is located in the Santa Lucia Park, the other in the Hidalgo Park. They speak various languages and are trained paramedics. Open 24/7. Stop by and they will help you with the info you are looking for.

Holidays Holidays Holidays
May is a busy month holiday wise on the Mexican calendar. Actually, all the holidays begin: on
April 30th with Children’s Day.
May 1st is Labor Day.
May 5th they remember the Battle at Puebla;
May 10th is Mother’s Day (no matter what day it falls on), and last but not least, May 15th is Teacher’s Day.
May 1st and 5th are bank holidays and all of them are school holidays. Mind you this is going to be a very long weekend.
