YUKALPETEN TYPICAL ORCHESTRA BENEFIT CONCERT
The Yukalpeten Typical Orchestra will be presenting a benefit gala concert for the Niños y Crias A.C. group. Niños y Crias is an environmentalist group that helps in the conservation of birds and enviroNmental education.
This is going to be an interesting opportunity with the strengthening of ties between the two groups - one that promotes protecting and saving the environment and the other rescuing the roots of Yucatecan music and culture.

I EXPO FOR SPORT FISHING
It will take place on June 16th at the Kabah room at the Convention Center Siglo XXI from 10 am until 10 pm. This event that is held by the Yucatan Fishing Club aims to promote this activity in the state of Yucatan as well as the different services offered by tour operators along the Yucatan coast.

2 HACIENDAS & A CENOTE
This is the new tour offered by the Carnavalito City Tour company. On this 3.5 hour tour you will visit two haciendas in Merida, have a guided tour and explanaition at both then continue on to the cenote at Tulipanes - all without leaving Merida. There is a new restaurant in town. In the installations of the previous Ki'Bok, Lafittes is owned by the Hotel Maison Lafitte, a few steps away on Calle 60 between 55 and 53. Open for dinner from 6 PM to 2 AM, this restaurant has lots of nooks and crannies, indoor dining with AC, outdoor patio dining, balcony dining in the front of the hotel and second floor terrace dining. LA LUZ GALERIA DE ARTE
From May 24th - June 29 the La Luz Galeria de Arte will be showcasing the works of the young contemporary Yucatecan artist Alonso Maza. Part of the mission of this gallery is to provide a space for talented young artists like Maza.
